Lizabeth Dunn

Founder and CEO

Liz Dunn is a strategic leader immersed in the evolution of the consumer. Liz has 25 years’ experience spanning financial services, consulting, and technology, all with a focus on the consumer sector. She uses this vantage point to help guide consumer-facing companies through the rapidly changing competitive landscape. Liz is passionate about the intersection of long-term brand value and financial results and believes both are necessary for success.

Liz is currently a strategic advisor to several small and midsize consumer companies and an Operating Partner at Consumer Growth Partners, a private equity and advisory firm. Concurrently, over the last four years, Liz designed and developed an analytics platform for the retail industry. Liz believes strategy and data analytics go hand in hand. She has a unique ability to use data to guide strategic decision making to both assess and enhance a company’s value proposition. She works with advisory clients to sharpen company positioning, explore new avenues of growth, improve financial performance, and optimize capital allocation.  

Previously, Liz was a highly regarded Equity Research Analyst covering the retail and branded consumer sectors.  Prior to her career in equity research, Liz held finance and strategy roles at Gap Inc. and Liz Claiborne and was a member of the Consumer Investment Banking group at Bear Stearns & Co. Liz frequently appears on CNBC and is quoted in national print media as a consumer subject matter expert. She graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia with a B.A. in Economics.
